Watch the sunrise over one of Italy’s most beautiful cities, an exclusive experience offered by the Opera del Duomo (no, no singing is involved!) every Saturday in September at 5.30am. You must choose your vantage point, either the Facciatone (unfinished Duomo façade) or the roof-terrace of the Palazzo delle Papesse. If you don’t do as well with heights then I would recommend the Palazzo delle Papesse, but you can choose for yourself based on my pictures below!
